Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Augusta is seeking a Corporate & Foundation Relations Manager to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major gift prospects at $10,000+ levels. You will work with the VP of Development and other team members to secure gifts and sustain organizational funding.

The role requires strong relationship building, grant-writing experience, and proficiency with donor databases, with a focus on engaging corporate partners and foundations for long-term support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 3-5 years of related development or nonprofit experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at a high volume.
• Independent work style with initiative.
• Attention to detail with minimal errors.
• Strong people and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and donor databases.
• Works well under pressure and meets deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active portfolio of 75–125 major gift prospects and donors.
• Develop cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies for each prospect.
• Participate in regular review meetings with leadership to align priorities.
• Identify new major gift prospects through research and donor analytics.
• Prepare and present grant proposals to federal, state, local agencies and private foundations.
• Maintain grant calendar and deadlines for LOIs and reports.
• Coordinate with Finance and Program teams to ensure compliance and timely reports.
• Build corporate partnerships and manage sponsorships and donor benefits.
• Enter and maintain donor data accurately in the donor database.
• Collaborate with the VP of Development and team to drive major gifts strategy.
