Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston is seeking a Leadership Gifts Officer to secure five-figure gifts and manage donor relationships. You will steward a portfolio including Friends Council and engage volunteers to advance fundraising campaigns.

Reporting to the VP of Development, you’ll work with Major and Annual Giving teams to meet revenue goals and support BGCB’s Imagine Invest Ignite campaign.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of development and direct solicitation experience.
• Experience managing donor portfolios and volunteer leadership groups.
• Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of ~100 leadership gift donors and prospects with frequent contact.
• Qualify, cultivate, and solicit annual commitments of $10,000+ and growth toward major gifts.
• Create tailored donor experiences through stewardship, meetings, events, and proposals.
• Maintain portfolio activity, revenue projections, and donor records in systems.
