Job summary

ROCS Grad Staffing, on behalf of a professional association foundation, seeks an experienced Individual Giving Manager to cultivate and solicit donors, grow a major gifts portfolio, and shape strategy. You will work closely with Board members and leadership to identify prospects and tailor engagement plans.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in nonprofit fundraising, strong donor stewardship skills, and the ability to travel for donor meetings and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years of progressively responsible fundraising, development, nonprofit, or related experience.
• Demonstrated experience with major gifts and/or individual giving strongly preferred.
• Experience cultivating relationships with donors and prospects.
• Strong understanding of the donor lifecycle.
• Experience developing fundraising strategies or donor engagement plans.
• Experience working with boards of directors or senior executives strongly preferred.
• Ability to build relationships with high-net-worth individuals.
• Willingness to travel periodically.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of major gift prospects and existing individual donors.
• Identify, research, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major donors.
• Develop tailored fundraising strategies and solicitation plans based on donor interests.
• Build long-term donor relationships through meetings, events, calls, and high-touch engagement.
• Collaborate with Board members and leadership to identify prospects and solicitation approaches.
• Develop fundraising plans around programs, initiatives, and funding opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to grow five- and six-figure gifts.
• Manage annual giving, major giving, planned/deferred giving, and donor recognition.
• Track donor activity and fundraising progress in CRM/moves-management.
• Prepare donor communications, proposals, appeals, reports, and follow-up.
• Participate in fundraising, networking, and donor events.
• Represent organization to donors, Board, executives, volunteers.
