Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta seeks a Vice President, Development (Major Gifts) to lead the organization’s major gifts program. The role emphasizes cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding high-net-worth donors and corporate partners to secure investments of $10,000 and above.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; CFRE certification preferred.
• 7–10 years of nonprofit fundraising experience.
• Experience managing a major gift portfolio and donor relationships.
• Experience partnering with boards, executives, and volunteers in fundraising.
• Familiarity with the Atlanta philanthropic community.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive major gifts strategy and donor engagement plan.
• Personally manage a portfolio of 100–150 qualified major gift prospects and donors.
• Conduct prospect identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
• Lead donor stewardship plans to strengthen retention and increase giving levels.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and Board on donor strategy and introductions.
