Job summary

Forefront Living Foundation seeks a Philanthropy Officer – Major Gifts to advance donor engagement from Dallas. You will cultivate relationships with individuals and foundations, present foundation initiatives, and work closely with the Executive Director to align gifts with program priorities.

Responsibilities include managing a 100–125 donor portfolio, documenting actions in Raiser's Edge, and developing major gift strategies to transition annual givers to major gifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of fundraising experience with proven donor relationship building.
• Proven ability to identify, cultivate, solicit, and sustain major gifts.
• CFRE preferred; knowledge of Raiser's Edge a plus.
• Healthcare or university fundraising experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate service-oriented attitude and solve problems while upholding quality.
• Cultivate relationships with major donors and foundations, working with the Executive Director.
• Develop and manage sponsorships and annual giving aligned with Major Gift designation.
• Identify prospects and record actions in Raiser's Edge, following up as needed.
• Manage a portfolio of 100–125 active donors and prospects; conduct up to 200 contacts yearly.
• Deliver presentations to individual donors and foundations about Foundation initiatives.
• Implement strategies to engage, solicit, and acknowledge major donors.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance relationship-building methods.
• Promote understanding of Forefront Living’s mission among donors.
• Support annual giving campaigns and events; assist in increasing monthly giving.
