Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern Territory is seeking a Donor Development professional to cultivate and solicit major gifts and corporate donations. You will manage a portfolio of donors, build relationships, and contribute to a comprehensive development plan aligned with our mission.

You will prepare proposals, coordinate donor programs, and work with the Development team to secure ongoing support for operating and capital needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; three years in fund development or related field, with demonstrated achievement.
• Prior fundraising experience with major gifts and corporate donors preferred.
• RFRE certification preferred, driving effective donor stewardship and strategy.

Responsibilities

• Achieves revenue goals by managing a portfolio of individual, major gift and corporate donors.
• Solicts donations and cultivates relationships to increase ongoing support for operating and capital needs.
• Develops and coordinates a Donor Development program to meet monetary and mission goals.
• Creates proposals for funding opportunities and supports corporate partnerships.
