River Oaks in Houston seeks an experienced Maître d' to be the face of our upscale dining destination. You will manage reservations, seating, and guest flow with gracious hospitality and staff coordination.

This role rewards polish, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate guest needs in a luxury setting. OpenTable/SevenRooms experience preferred; availability evenings, weekends, and holidays required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years as Maître d' or lead host in upscale dining or luxury hospitality.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Professional, polished presence with attention to detail.
• Experience with reservation platforms (OpenTable/SevenRooms/Resy) preferred.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a memorable first impression.
• Manage reservations, seating, waitlists, and dining room flow for efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with management and service teams to ensure smooth service and table turns.
• Maintain guest profiles and notes in reservation platforms with accuracy.
• Lead and mentor host team on engagement, hospitality, and service standards.
• Uphold culture and core values of Culinary Khancepts.
