Job summary

Deepwell is seeking a polished maitre d to lead the guest experience on our front-of-house team as we open Deepwell—the newest full-service restaurant from Kindred Hospitality Group. You’ll set the tone for a memorable dining experience with warm greetings, seamless pacing, and a guest-first approach.

The ideal candidate has upscale or fine dining experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and familiarity with reservation systems.

Qualifications

• Experience as a maitre'd/host lead/front-of-house manager
• Upscale or fine dining experience preferred
• Strong leadership and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Working knowledge of reservation and table management systems
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and welcome guests, setting the tone for their dining experience
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and table flow to optimize seating and pacing
• Anticipate guest needs, handle special requests, and resolve concerns with professionalism
• Coordinate closely with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service
• Train, support, and set the standard for hosts and front-of-house staff
• Maintain a polished, organized, and welcoming host stand and entryway
• Uphold the restaurant's hospitality, presentation, and service standards
• Support leadership during high-volume, fast-paced shifts
