Kindred Restaurant is hiring warm, detail-oriented hosts to join our front-of-house team as we open Deepwell, the newest full-service restaurant from the Kindred Hospitality group.

This role suits someone who takes pride in warm first impressions and seamless pacing, sets the tone for a memorable dining experience, and loves delivering hospitality. You will manage reservations, greet guests, communicate table status, and support a fast-paced service while maintaining a welcoming host stand.

Qualifications

• Previous host or customer service experience preferred, not required.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and welcome guests, setting the tone for their dining experience
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and walk-ins, keeping wait times and expectations clear
• Answer phones, take reservations, and respond to guest inquiries professionally
• Communicate table status and timing with servers and management throughout service
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and entryway
• Address guest questions, special requests, and concerns with professionalism
• Uphold the restaurant's standards for hospitality, presentation, and service at all times
• Support the front-of-house team during high-volume, fast-paced shifts

We are looking for someone with a passion for people and hospitality.

About Us

Deepwell is an upscale casual restaurant and part of a growing local restaurant group, with several other restaurants in the area owned by Joe & Katy Kindred. Our culinary team has earned numerous James Beard Foundation nominations along with other national and local accolades. We're known for seasonally-driven menus, craft beer and cocktail programs, and stellar wine lists — and we're looking for team members who bring the same level of care to the guest experience that our kitchen brings to the plate.
