Drake’s Hollywood, part of Vandelay Hospitality Group, seeks a personable Maître d’ to lead the front door and host team with hospitality at the forefront. You will own reservations, guest relationships, seating strategy, and dining room flow, ensuring an elevated guest experience from arrival to departure.

The ideal candidate is organized, warm, and articulate, capable of training Hosts, coordinating with management, and delivering polished service in a fast-paced, upscale setting.

Qualificações

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience in high-touch, guest-facing environments with hospitality standards.
• Fine dining or upscale hospitality experience preferred.
• Polished, engaging, and relationship-driven.
• Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership of the host stand and lead the front-door experience.
• Set the tone for the Host team with clear direction and presentation standards.
• Own the first and last impression of every guest’s experience.
• Greet guests with warmth, confidence, and hospitality.
• Build guest relationships by learning names and preferences.
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and dining room flow with precision.
• Utilize RESY to oversee reservations and guest notes.
• Review guest profiles before service to anticipate needs.
• Strategically manage seating to balance experience and pace.
• Maintain awareness of dining room and adjust seating as needed.
• Communicate clearly with managers, Hosts, servers, and staff.
• Provide direction to Host team and maintain urgency and teamwork.
• Train and develop Hosts in engagement, RESY usage, seating strategy, and etiquette.
• Answer phones professionally and maintain guest notes for future visits.
• Support administrative tasks and front-of-house organization.
• Maintain a polished, organized stand and calm service during peak times.
