Drake’s Hollywood is seeking a friendly Host to welcome guests and set the tone for an elevated dining experience. You will greet guests, manage reservations, and guide seating with warmth and professionalism.

Ideal candidates bring client-facing hospitality experience, polished communication, and a willingness to learn. A fast-paced environment demands composure, teamwork, and a guest-centric approach.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience in a client-facing hospitality role preferred.
• Background in fine dining, luxury services, or related environments is valued.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal presence.
• Naturally hospitable, detail-oriented and collaborative.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• RESY experience is a plus, trainable for the right candidate.
• Desire to learn, grow, and develop within hospitality.
• Food handling certification as required by state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Own the first and last impression of every guest’s experience.
• Greet guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.
• Build guest relationships by learning names and preferences.
• Manage reservations, waitlists, walk-ins, and dining room flow.
• Utilize RESY to oversee reservations, notes, events, and special requests.
• Review guest profiles before service to personalize hospitality.
• Answer phones with professionalism, warmth, and clear communication.
• Strategically seat guests to balance pacing and flow.
• Communicate clearly with managers, servers, and staff during service.
• Maintain composure and organization in a fast-paced environment.
• Support opening, closing, and side-work to keep the host stand polished.
