Job summary

GF Hotels & Resorts is seeking a hardworking maintenance technician to inspect and maintain facilities and equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and propose measures to maximize equipment life and minimize safety risks.

You will be responsible for routine maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, document repairs, and respond to on-call maintenance requests as needed. This role offers growth with a growing portfolio of properties and a hands-on maintenance focus.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability for on-call maintenance requests on nights and weekends.
• Knowledge of air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems.
• Over 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Has high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement preventative maintenance protocols to keep equipment operations smooth and eliminate safety risks
• Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, walls, and perform necessary repairs
• Keep a record of completed repairs and when equipment was last serviced
• Take additional maintenance requests as assigned
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, and electrical wiring to ensure optimal performance and make any repairs
