Job summary

ARK is seeking a hardworking maintenance technician in Georgia to keep facilities and equipment in top condition. You will conduct regular inspections, perform routine maintenance, and propose preventive measures to extend equipment life and reduce safety risks.

Requirements include 2+ years in maintenance, a High School diploma or GED, and the ability to respond to on-call requests during nights and weekends. Excellent work ethic and strong communication and time-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Willingness to respond to on-call maintenance during nights and weekends.
• Strong work ethic, communication, time management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Take additional maintenance requests as assigned.
• Establish and implement preventative maintenance protocols to keep equipment operations smooth and eliminate safety risks.
• Record when any equipment was serviced and repairs were made.
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to ensure efficient operation and perform needed repairs.
• Inspect building windows, walls, and doors for damage and perform repairs when needed.

Compensation:

$16 - $17 hourly

Qualifications

• Should be able to demonstrate understanding of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
• Needs to have availability to respond on nights and weekends to on-call maintenance requests
• 2+ years of maintenance experience
• Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
