Job summary

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Albany is seeking a hardworking and reliable maintenance technician to join our growing team. You will conduct regular inspections and maintenance on our facilities and equipment, ensuring everything operates efficiently and safely.

The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of maintenance experience and excellent communication and time management skills. The role requires flexibility for on-call maintenance requests, and compensation ranges from $12 to $14 per hour.

Qualifications

• Over 2 years of maintenance experience.

• Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring.
• Check for damage to doors, windows, and walls, making repairs as needed.
• Record servicing and repairs on equipment.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures.
• Take additional maintenance requests as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to make sure they’re operating efficiently and make any needed repairs.
• Check the building for any damage to doors, windows, walls, and make any repairs as needed.
• Record when any equipment was serviced and repairs were made.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks.
• Take additional maintenance requests as assigned.

Qualifications

• Over 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems.
• Must be able to demonstrate advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures.
• Flexible availability for on-call maintenance requests on nights and weekends.

Compensation

$12 - $14 hourly
