Job summary

ARK in Columbus, OH is seeking a hardworking maintenance technician to join our team. You’ll help keep facilities operating efficiently, inspect the building for damage, and perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure smooth operation.

The ideal candidate has reliable teamwork, problem-solving abilities, and at least 2 years of maintenance experience, with knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems.
• Over 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques.
• Superb attention to detail, work ethic, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Check the building for damage to doors, windows, walls and make repairs as needed.
• Record service and repair history for equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance on plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance to keep equipment operating efficiently and safe.
• Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed.

• Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed
