Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Maintenance Scheduler for BGE to prioritize and coordinate corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance tasks, projects and testing activities. You will align work plans with business goals and coordinate with field teams and contractors.

The role requires 2–4 years in utilities (or 6–9 years without a degree), strong scheduling knowledge, and travel as needed. On-site position with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2–4 years utility experience, or in lieu of bachelor's degree, a minimum of 6–9 years of relevant utility business experience.
• Working knowledge of PC and mainframe scheduling.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, achieve deadlines and handle multiple assignments.
• Excellent organizational, planning and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel throughout BGE service territory as required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the prioritization, scheduling, and coordination of all corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance tasks, projects, switching evolutions and testing activities associated with a specific discipline within BGE.
• Responsible for scheduling and coordination of all associated tasks and establishing work scope and monitoring performance.
• Execute work management processes to optimize resources and align with financial, customer, reliability, safety and performance goals.
• Monitor key performance measures and ensure consistent application of the Work Management process across operations.
• Chairs or co-chairs the Work screening committee and interfaces with other departments to represent Work Management issues.
• Apply a consistent work management model to drive resource sharing and decision making.
• Support a learning organization and foster a high-performance culture with effective performance management.
