Job summary

Henderson Properties seeks an organized, customer-focused Maintenance Support Specialist in the Charlotte area to manage maintenance requests, review work orders, and coordinate with technicians or vendors. You will prepare cost estimates, handle materials ordering, and provide administrative support to ensure timely completion.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential property management or facilities maintenance.
• 2+ years in coordination, dispatch, customer service, or administrative role.
• Familiar with Property Meld or similar maintenance management software.
• Knowledge of the greater Charlotte area vendors or contractors.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• Experience ordering appliances or materials and working with vendors.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance trades and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Respond to a high volume of calls and emails with prompt, professional assistance.
• Manage maintenance inquiries, account issues, and timely follow-up.
• Prepare cost estimates for routine/small-scale repairs including labor, materials, and vendor quotes.
• Maintain accurate records and process transactions in company systems.
• Build and maintain relationships with residents to promote satisfaction and retention.
• Participate in team meetings, projects, and process improvements.
• Maintain and update procedural documentation and workflows.
• Assist with departmental and cross-functional projects as needed.
