Job summary

Henderson Properties, Inc is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician (Intermediate Level) to join our team and help maintain rental properties to the highest standards. You’ll handle a variety of maintenance tasks independently, ensuring safety, functionality, and curb appeal for residents.

Responsibilities include inspecting properties, repairing electrical, plumbing, painting, doors and hardware, and supporting upkeep and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Strong general maintenance knowledge across electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Good communication and team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Inspect properties and perform repairs to ensure safety and functionality.
• Maintain and repair basic electrical systems (lighting, outlets, breaker panels).
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing and heating components.
• Complete interior and exterior painting projects.
• Repair and maintain doors, locks, and related hardware.
• Perform general repairs (windows, fixtures, carpentry, etc.).
• Follow safety protocols and handle hazardous materials properly.
• Keep accurate records of work and materials used.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and skill development.
