Lillibridge Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician Trainee in the Downers Grove, IL area to support maintenance across twelve properties in Chicagoland.

The role emphasizes hands-on experience, job shadowing, and training with the onsite engineering team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in maintenance preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be located in Downers Grove, IL area and/or willing to travel to multiple Chicagoland locations.
• Onsite 5 days a week requirement; lifting at least 50 pounds; able to climb ladders/stairs and walk extensively.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using maintenance or work order software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing work orders for maintenance and repairs.
• Support routine physical improvements to properties.
• Respond to emergencies per dept. protocols.
• Assist Building/Engineering team with equipment, supplies, and logs.
• Communicate building status and changes to stakeholders.
• Adhere to safety standards, policies, and procedures.

Lillibridge manages more than 22 million square feet of outpatient medical space across 36 states, providing prime medical office spaces to health systems and physicians seeking to expand their reach and deliver value to their communities.About the RoleThe Maintenance Technician Trainee is responsible for supporting the maintenance and upkeep of twelve (12) properties throughout the Chicagoland area. This role will also ensure efficient operations and client/tenant satisfaction, and general property maintenance and repairs. This is a growth-oriented role designed to develop technical skills through hands-on experience, job shadowing, formal training, and practical application alongside the onsite engineering team.This role plays a key part in maintaining the reliability and performance of our buildings, creating safe, functional environments for tenants, clients, and patients. This range reflects a good-faith estimate of the base salary Ventas reasonably expects to pay at the time of posting. Actual base pay will be determined based on work location, skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and business needs.In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision, retirement savings, paid time off, and other wellness benefits under applicable plan terms.
