Job summary

Lillibridge Healthcare Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical work and general property upkeep in the Washington, DC area. The role focuses on keeping buildings safe, functional, and compliant with department protocols to support tenant satisfaction.

The position requires a valid driver's license, 2+ years in maintenance (healthcare/CRE preferred), on-site work five days a week, and after-hours availability for emergencies, with opportunities for

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in maintenance preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related maintenance experience; healthcare or CRE experience preferred.
  • Certifications (HVAC, CFC Handling, Electrical, Plumbing) preferred.
  • Must be located in the Washington, DC area and be onsite 5 days a week with on-call availability.

Responsibilities

  • Complete maintenance and repair work orders using work order software.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and resolve issues safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and parts.
  • Communicate with tenants, vendors, and team members about building needs.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Support the Supervisor/Property Manager in monitoring operations and vendor performance.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Additionally, the Maintenance Technician will manage maintenance systems to ensure optimal operations and client/tenant satisfaction in accordance with department protocols.This role plays a key part in maintaining the reliability and performance of our buildings, creating safe, functional environments for tenants, clients, and patients.
