Job summary

MG Properties is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join Skye Apartments in Vista, CA. The ideal candidate has trades experience and a strong customer-service focus, capable of handling on-site tasks and emergencies.

You will perform grounds and unit maintenance, appliance repairs, painting, turnovers, and respond to service requests. On-call rotation and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in apartment maintenance on a large property.
• Experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and related trades.
• Customer service attitude and flexibility are required.
• Must acknowledge potential audio recordings during work duties and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Clean grounds, offices, common areas and perform maintenance service requests.
• Repair appliances and perform routine upkeep and turnovers in units.
• Paint and perform general preventative maintenance as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and on-call rotation as scheduled.

We are a large regional property management firm looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Skye Apartments in Vista, CA!

The ideal candidate will have experience in all trades and be very customer service focused. Some duties will include cleaning grounds, offices, common areas, completing maintenance service requests, appliance repairs, painting, apartment turnovers, taking emergency calls and more!

Qualifications

• Prefer at least 2 years experience in apartment maintenance on 200 unit property!
• Experience in all trades (plumbing, electrical, a/c, etc.) a must!
• Customer service attitude, flexibility and the ability to work in a team environment are key to making this position a success!
• As a condition of employment, all employees must acknowledge and consent to the possibility of audio recordings being made during the performance of their work duties.
• Reliable transportation is a MUST!
• Availability to work on-call rotation.

Compensation and Benefits

• $26.00-$27.00/hour DOE
• Monthly bonuses
