Job summary

MG Properties, Marisol Apartments in Carlsbad, CA, seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team. You’ll handle grounds and common areas, appliance repairs, painting, turnovers, and emergency calls, with a focus on excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates have multi-trade experience (plumbing, electrical, HVAC) and at least 2 years on a 200-unit property, plus reliable transportation and willingness to work on-call.

Qualifications

• Prefer at least 2 years experience in apartment maintenance on 200 unit property.
• Experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other trades.
• Strong customer service attitude and ability to work in a team.
• Audio recording consent may be required during work duties.
• Reliable transportation is a MUST.
• Availability to work on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, offices, and common areas.
• Complete maintenance service requests and appliance repairs.
• Painting and apartment turnovers.
• Handle emergency calls as needed.

We are a large regional property management firm looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Marisol Apartments in Carlsbad, CA.

The ideal candidate will have experience in all trades and be very customer service focused. Some duties will include cleaning grounds, offices, common areas, completing maintenance service requests, appliance repairs, painting, apartment turnovers, taking emergency calls and more!

Qualifications

• Prefer at least 2 years experience in apartment maintenance on 200 unit property!
• Experience in all trades (plumbing, electrical, a/c, etc.) a must!
• Customer service attitude, flexibility and the ability to work in a team environment are key to making this position a success!
• As a condition of employment, all employees must acknowledge and consent to the possibility of audio recordings being made during the performance of their work duties.
• Reliable transportation is a MUST!
• Availability to work on-call rotation.
