Nestlé S.A. in Crete, Nebraska, a major wet pet food facility, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain plant systems, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment, and support reliability improvements.

You will perform predictive and preventative maintenance, work nights and weekends, and enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) match and health coverage. Pay starts at $31.68 per hour with increases up to $38.02 after training.

Qualifications

• 6+ months maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment OR a 2-year technical degree completed.
• Must be willing to work nights and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Maintenance of plant systems: mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls systems including motors and PLCs.
• Use test equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulators.
• Repair gear reducers, belt and screw conveyors, chain elevators, and packaging equipment.
• Maintain wastewater system, boiler operations, cooling towers, and general building needs.
• Complete predictive maintenance such as vibration analysis and oil sample collection.

Hourly pay starting at $31.68 with opportunities for increase up to $38.02 through additional training / certifications. As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for the maintenance of all plant systems, which will include facilities, unloading, processing, packing and warehouse operations. You will troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical equipment. Working in a safe manner at all times, you will play a major role in machine reliability and process improvements across the plant. Our maintenance work includes both predictive and preventative maintenance.

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
