Job summary

Archway Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support daily upkeep, repairs, and safety across our affordable-housing properties. You will handle routine and emergency maintenance, complete work orders, and assist with preventive programs, ensuring buildings remain safe and welcoming for residents.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service focus and attention to detail.
• Budgeting experience or familiarity with cost tracking is a plus.
• Proficient with computer software and basic maintenance-related tools.
• Bilingual Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders for plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair and general maintenance.
• Inspect units, common areas, building systems, and grounds regularly.
• Troubleshoot issues promptly to ensure resident safety and comfort.
• Assist with HVAC filter changes and routine safety tasks.
• Prepare vacant units for turnover including cleaning, painting, and fixture replacement.
• Support preventive maintenance programs and document completed tasks.
