Job summary

Magna is seeking an on-site maintenance technician to monitor automated production lines, perform equipment setup, and support TPM/PM activities. The role emphasizes mechanical and electrical expertise, robotics familiarity, and PLC-driven control systems within a busy manufacturing plant.

The position offers exposure to Kuka, Fanuc, ABB robotics, and demanding preventive maintenance routines in a high-volume environment, with competitive pay and extensive on-site benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Mechatronics or Industrial Electronics required, or equivalent work/educational experience.
• 1-3 years experience in a manufacturing facility in a technical capacity.
• Experience with industrial robots (Kuka, Fanuc, ABB) strongly preferred; experience with PLCs strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor automated production lines and respond to downtime issues to maintain safe, efficient operations.
• Perform basic equipment operation and setup, including HMI controls, robotics operation, weld parameter adjustments, and product changeovers.
• Conduct preventive maintenance activities (TPMs and PMs) to support equipment reliability and maximize uptime.
