Job summary
Magna International Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
The role requires strong mechanical and electrical capabilities, plus experience with hydraulic/pneumatic systems and industrial automation. You will support safety, quality, and productivity initiatives while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical diploma preferred with relevant industrial maintenance experience.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and metal fabrication tools.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and non-production equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and automation-related issues.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and quality concerns.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and reliability.
- Utilize SAP/CMMS to manage work orders and maintenance documentation.
