Apartment Management Professionals, LLC (AMP Residential) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Riverfront Towers team in Detroit, MI. This role focuses on keeping the property safe, attractive, and comfortable, with duties ranging from preparing vacant apartments to completing service requests and supporting make‑readies.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on facilities maintenance experience, be able to lift up to 100 lbs, and work well with residents, vendors, and staff.

Qualifications

• Facilities maintenance experience required, at least 1 yr in a similar industry.
• Must have valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartment homes for occupancy by making necessary repairs.
• Complete work orders in occupied homes with fast, friendly service.
• Follow preventive maintenance guidelines.
• Maintain property grounds and common areas.
• Address HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance and other service requests.
• Teamwork with staff to achieve property goals.
• Be available after hours and weekends for on-call responsibilities.

This individual will maintain relationships with other service staff, residents and vendors. Some key responsibilities will include providing the highest level of customer service, make regular inspections of grounds and buildings as part of a preventative maintenance plan, complete service requests and assist with the apartment make-ready process.
