Job summary

AMP Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our West Bloomfield property. You will perform repairs, assist with make-ready processes, and deliver high levels of customer service to residents and staff.

The role involves preventive maintenance, grounds upkeep, and responding to service requests across the 83 West Townhomes community. The position is full-time and on-site with opportunities to work with a dedicated team, ongoing training, and benefits, including 401K and paid time

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Able to pass background check and drug screening.
• Must be able to lift 100 lbs.
• Able to work after hours and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartment homes for occupancy by making repairs.
• Complete work orders in occupied homes with fast, friendly service.
• Follow preventive maintenance guidelines.
• Maintain property grounds.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance service requests.

This individual will maintain relationships with other service staff, residents and vendors. Some key responsibilities will include providing the highest level of customer service, make regular inspections of grounds and buildings as part of a preventative maintenance plan, complete service requests and assist with the apartment make-ready process.
