Premier Property Management is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to join Waters Edge Apartments in Flat Rock, MI. You will perform routine maintenance, respond to resident requests, and help keep units and common areas in top condition.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in property maintenance or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in basic maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, and drywall.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance inspections and repairs on residential properties, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
• Respond to maintenance requests from residents and staff in a timely manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure safety, functionality, and longevity of systems and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventories.
• Assist with unit turnovers, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs.
• Collaborate with the property management team to address maintenance issues and uphold standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing tasks.
• Snow removal in winter months
• Follow all safety protocols
