Premier Property Management is seeking a diligent and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team at Waters Edge Apartments in Flat Rock, MI. You will perform routine maintenance, respond to resident requests, and assist with unit turnovers while helping uphold property standards.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years of maintenance experience, proficiency in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and drywall, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of property maintenance or related field experience.
• Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, and drywall.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance inspections and repairs on residential properties, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
• Respond to maintenance requests from residents and staff promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure safety and longevity of property systems.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
• Assist with unit turnovers, including painting and cleaning.
• Collaborate with management to address issues and uphold property standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
• Snow removal in winter months.
