AMP Residential is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join the 83 West Townhomes team in West Bloomfield, MI. You will perform preventive maintenance, repair vacant homes, and complete work orders to keep the property safe, attractive, and comfortable.

You will handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance service requests, maintain grounds, and collaborate with residents, vendors, and fellow staff. This full-time, hourly role requires customer service focus and willingness to work evenings

Qualifications

• Facilities/maintenance background (1–2 years)
• Valid Driver's License with auto insurance
• EPA certification preferred
• CPO and/or pool experience preferred
• Excellent customer service skills and communication

Responsabilités

This individual will maintain relationships with other service staff, residents and vendors. Some key responsibilities will include providing the highest level of customer service, make regular inspections of grounds and buildings as part of a preventative maintenance plan, complete service requests and assist with the apartment make-ready process. The maintenance technician reports directly to the maintenance supervisor.**Responsibilities will include but not limited to:*** Prepare vacant apartment homes for occupancy by making any necessary repairs* Complete work orders in occupied homes while providing fast, friendly service* Follow preventive maintenance guidelines* Maintain property grounds* HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance and all other service requests* Team work to achieve property goals* Follow safety procedures**Physical Demands:*** Physical demands described here must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties of this job.
