Job summary

Arcan Capital, LLC. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a wide range of interior and exterior maintenance tasks and respond to resident service requests. You will troubleshoot issues, help ensure safety, and keep communities well‑maintained to deliver an exceptional living experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• HVAC, EPA, and/or CPO certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares Market Ready apartments, including painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and general repairs to provide a quality move-in experience.
• Perform routine interior and exterior community maintenance as scheduled or requested (painting, snow/ice removal, gutter cleaning, filter replacement, trash compactor work).
• Perform routine maintenance and repair on community equipment (plumbing, light bulbs, A/C, electrical, carpentry, mechanical).
• Respond to resident and staff maintenance requests in a timely, professional manner.
• Report maintenance concerns on vacant units, models, common areas, equipment malfunctions, and hazards to the Maintenance Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain resident privacy and obtain proper authorization before entering apartments.
• Keep maintenance items in a safe area to prevent injuries to residents and staff.
• Deliver superior customer service and represent the company professionally.
• Attend in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
• Coordinate with vendors for landscaping, painting asphalt, etc.
• Follow state, local, and federal fair housing laws and OSHA safety requirements.
