This position description provides the overall purpose, key responsibilities, and specifications of the role. This description includes essential functions and responsibilities, but other duties may be assigned or amended as needed.
The Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in maintaining the community's daily impression on residents and prospects. The role demands high-quality customer service and professionalism. Responsibilities include assisting the Senior Maintenance Superintendent and Property Manager in property maintenance, performing duties safely, and reporting to the Property Manager in the absence of the Senior Maintenance Superintendent.
Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily, including:
Own necessary tools and maintain knowledge of safe use of hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as wheelbarrows, ladders, etc.
Requires physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds, work in various positions, and perform outdoor and indoor tasks. Must have good vision and hearing, and the ability to communicate effectively.
Must wear company-approved attire with ID badge, maintain regular attendance, and respond to emergency calls. Must be able to work outdoors frequently, handle physical demands, and demonstrate good judgment and professionalism.
