Job summary

Arlington Properties is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician to join the team at our Chesapeake property. You will perform hands-on maintenance, respond to work orders, and help keep units and common areas in excellent condition, ensuring resident satisfaction.

The role requires diverse trades skills, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and on-call shifts. EPA certification preferred but not required for all cases.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
• EPA certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant units to market-ready condition.
• Handle work orders with skill and urgency.
• Perform general maintenance including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC support, and appliance repair.
• Maintain grounds and common areas in good condition.
• Support preventative maintenance and inspections.
