Job summary

Arlington Properties is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician to prep apartments, handle work orders, and perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, painting and HVAC support.

You’ll keep grounds clean, assist with preventative maintenance, snow removal, pool upkeep, and be on-call for emergencies. Valid driver’s license and ability to lift 100 lbs required; EPA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.).
• Proficiency in at least one major trade area.
• EPA certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work outdoors in all conditions.
• Excellent communication and professionalism with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Prep vacant apartments to market-ready condition.
• Handle work orders with skill, urgency, and a smile.
• Perform general maintenance including light plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC support, and appliance repair.
• Keep grounds and common areas clean and inviting.
• Support preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Pitch in with snow removal, pool upkeep, and seasonal tasks.
• Stay alert and on-call for emergency maintenance needs.
• Work safely, efficiently, and with pride—because your work matters.
