Job summary

Arlington Properties is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician to keep apartment communities running smoothly. You’ll prep units, handle work orders, and perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC support, and appliance repair.

Ideal candidates have 1–5 years hands-on maintenance experience, with proficiency in at least one major trade. EPA certification is preferred; a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

• 1–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or HVAC.
• Proficiency in at least one major trade area.

Responsibilities

• Prep vacant apartments to market-ready condition.
• Handle work orders with skill, urgency, and a smile.
• Perform general maintenance including light plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC support, and appliance repair.
• Keep grounds and common areas clean and inviting.
• Support preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Stay on-call for emergency maintenance needs and winter tasks.
