Job summary

MPC Plating in Brooklyn, Ohio, seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment and facility systems operating safely and reliably. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and collaboration with production staff to minimize downtime.

Day shift, with overtime and potential weekend hours as production needs arise. Requires a High School Diploma or GED and the ability to work across electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems to support continuous production.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is considered.
• Experience with plumbing, pipefitting, welding, fabrication, and electrical systems is a plus.
• Experience in troubleshooting HVAC systems and controls is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, support, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency across multiple technical disciplines and problem-solving techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Support the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program to achieve 100% on-time compliance.
• Complete assigned maintenance procedures on chemical tanks, piping systems, air compressors, and other electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment involving mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues.
• Communicate and collaborate with production operators to assist with equipment repairs and troubleshooting.
• Maintain the maintenance area, ensuring tools, parts, and supplies are properly stocked and organized.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
