Job summary

MPC Plating, based in Brooklyn, Ohio, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a full-time, day-shift role. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient operations and minimize downtime.

Evening overtime and occasional weekend hours may be required. Qualified candidates will have strong electrical, plumbing, and mechanical troubleshooting skills, with a HS diploma or GED and the ability to work with cross-functional

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with plumbing, pipefitting, welding, fabrication, and electrical systems is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, support, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability for varying hours and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Support the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program to achieve 100% on-time compliance.
• Complete assigned maintenance procedures on chemical tanks, piping systems, air compressors, and other electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment involving mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues.
• Communicate and collaborate with production operators to assist with equipment repairs and troubleshooting.
• Maintain the maintenance area, ensuring tools, parts, and supplies are properly stocked and organized.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
• Attend required meetings and training sessions.
• Use required PPE and safely work at heights and around chemicals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
