MPC Plating in Brooklyn, Ohio is seeking a Plating Technician to monitor and maintain the automatic plating line, ensuring quality and consistency of all plated parts. This role includes chemical analysis, tank maintenance, filtration monitoring, and strict adherence to safety and environmental standards to support efficient production.

Several shifts are available, including 2nd and 3rd, with overtime frequently required.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and maintain plating tanks, weirs, solution levels, air agitation, and filtration systems.
• Perform chemical additions and maintain proper formulation of plating solutions.
• Conduct temperature checks and pH testing according to established procedures.
• Monitor, clean, and replace filtration and regeneration systems per maintenance schedules.
• Oversee recovery systems and perform cleaning or maintenance as required.
• Interpret and follow written, verbal, diagram, and schedule-based instructions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area around chemical storage, filtration, regeneration, and recovery equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE.
• Complete required daily checklists and documentation.
• Assist other plating technicians as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Position: Plating TechnicianShift & Schedule

3 Openings – (1) 2nd Shift, & (2) 3rd Shift


Overtime is frequently required, including Saturday mornings

Position Summary

The Plating Technician is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the automatic plating line to ensure the quality and consistency of all plated parts. This role includes chemical analysis, tank maintenance, filtration monitoring, and adherence to safety and environmental standards to support efficient production operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  Monitor and maintain plating tanks, weirs, solution levels, air agitation, and filtration systems
