Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep equipment in peak readiness at our Utah site. You will perform inspections, diagnose issues, and execute repairs on diverse fixed mechanical systems and machinery.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in heavy industry maintenance, basic welding skills, and a solid aptitude for plant equipment and safety procedures. This role is on-site with a strong emphasis on reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in heavy industry.
• Working knowledge of basic mechanical aptitude and general plant maintenance.
• Experience with welding (stick/arc) and lite fabrication is a plus.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment by following manufacturers' service intervals and company procedures; maintain an inventory of replacement parts.
• Inspect condition and operation of plant equipment and perform repairs; report findings to Supervisor.
• Perform emergency repairs to address plant breakdowns.
• Adhere to safety, environmental and company policies and complete paperwork in a timely fashion.
• Promote health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments.
