Job summary

Amrize is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Utah to maintain equipment in a state of readiness, perform inspections, and handle repairs on a range of fixed mechanical systems. You will generate daily/weekly reports and address plant equipment issues to minimize downtime.

The role requires 2+ years in mechanical repair and basic welding; familiarity with welding processes and hand tools is a plus. Safety compliance and teamwork are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

2+ years’ experience in mechanical repair, installation and construction in heavy industry.
Working knowledge of basic mechanical aptitude, general plant maintenance.
Operating a skid-steer and man-lift is a plus.
Stick welding, arc welding and light fabrication a plus.
Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment per manufacturers' service intervals.
Inspect equipment condition and perform repairs or adjustments; report findings to Supervisor.
Perform emergency repairs to address production equipment breakdowns.
Follow safety, environmental and company policies; complete paperwork promptly.
Promote health, safety and environmental policy compliance in all work areas.
