Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Assistant in Winston-Salem, NC. You will perform maintenance tasks, handle work orders, and assist with repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and fixtures.

You will help with painting, preventative maintenance, safety checks, and inventory management to keep the community safe and well-functioning. The role includes making-ready suites, following OSHA standards, and supporting emergency drills.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform maintenance tasks and complete work orders.
• Basic repair skills in plumbing, electrical, appliances, and fixtures.
• Assist with painting, refurbishing, and routine facility upkeep.
• Support HVAC, water, and mechanical system maintenance and safety checks.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned maintenance tasks and work orders.
• Perform basic repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances, fixtures).
