Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to perform assigned maintenance tasks and basic repairs across plumbing, electrical, appliances, and fixtures. You’ll assist with painting, refurbishing projects, HVAC and safety checks, and participate in emergency drills while maintaining tools and inventories.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned maintenance tasks and work orders
• Perform basic repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances, fixtures)
• Assist with painting and refurbishing projects
• Support HVAC, water, and mechanical system maintenance
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks
• Maintain tools, equipment, and repair inventory
• Support carpet and floor care as needed
• Assist with suite “make-ready” preparation
• Follow OSHA, fire safety, and infection control standards
• Participate in emergency preparedness and fire drills
• Drive community vehicle as assigned
