Job summary

Martin Sprocket & Gear Inc. seeks skilled Maintenance Technicians to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, keep records, and support production across facilities, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role requires hands-on experience, ability to work a structured shift, and teamwork. This is a full-time position in a manufacturing environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in a manufacturing or facilities maintenance role.
• Experience with preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Basic welding and fabrication skills useful for repairs/modifications.
• Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC machinery preferred.
• Electrical knowledge for 110V/220V/480V systems including single/multi-phase wiring.
• Ability to lift and move heavy components; PPE compliance required.
• Able to work independently and with the team; tolerate overtime.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment and diagnose root causes to minimize downtime.
• Repair machinery and perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Maintain facilities equipment and ensure a clean, safe work area.
• Perform maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Document repairs, parts used, and maintenance tasks thoroughly.
• Support other departments as needed to keep production moving.
