Job summary

Martin Sprocket & Gear is seeking Maintenance Technicians to diagnose and repair equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure safe, efficient facilities across our sites. You will be responsible for electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems and basic welding tasks in a fast-paced environment.

1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 5:30 AM – 1:30 PM, with opportunities to support production and other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in manufacturing or facilities maintenance with hands-on troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience with scheduled preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Welding and basic fabrication skills can be useful for repairs or modifications.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment and machinery issues to identify root causes and minimize downtime.
• Repair machinery and perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Maintain facilities equipment, tools, and work areas for safety and efficiency.
• Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems across corporate and manufacturing facilities.
• Follow safety protocols including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Accurately document repairs, maintenance tasks, and parts used.
• Assist in other areas or departments as needed to support production and facility needs.
