Job summary

Martin Sprocket & Gear seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep our mechanical power transmission components and systems running smoothly. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and execute preventative maintenance across hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical platforms.

The role emphasizes safety, accurate documentation, and collaboration with teams to minimize downtime while supporting production and facility needs. This shift offers steady hours and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in manufacturing or facilities maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Welding and metal fabrication skills are a plus.
• Familiar with hydraulics, pneumatics and CNC machinery preferred.
• Proficient with 110V, 220V and 480V wiring; able to work safely.
• Physically capable of lifting and handling heavy components.
• Able to work independently and with a team; flexible schedule.
• Adhere to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Willing to work overtime and meet company timekeeping standards.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment and diagnose root causes to minimize downtime.
• Repair machinery and perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Maintain facilities equipment and keep work areas clean and safe.
• Perform maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Follow lockout/tagout and other safety procedures.
• Accurately document repairs, maintenance tasks, and parts used.
• Support other departments as needed to meet production goals.
