Job summary

Martin Sprocket & Gear is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair machinery, perform preventive maintenance, and keep facilities in safe, efficient condition. You’ll work across hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems with a focus on reliability and safety.

The role offers a first-shift schedule, with hours Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and a supportive team in a growing manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in a manufacturing or facilities maintenance role.
• Ability to perform scheduled preventative maintenance to extend equipment life.
• Strong diagnostic skills across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Welding and basic fabrication experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment and machinery issues to identify root causes and minimize downtime.
• Repair machinery and equipment as needed and perform preventive maintenance.
• Maintain facilities equipment, tools, and work areas in clean, safe condition.
• Conduct maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems across facilities.
• Follow safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Document repairs, maintenance tasks, and parts used for records and history.
• Assist in other areas or departments as needed.
