Kloeckner Metals Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support Lancaster, SC operations. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of motors, conveyors, and production machinery to keep the line running safely and efficiently.

You will work with fellow technicians under the Maintenance Manager, applying mechanical skills and strong attention to detail to minimize downtime and meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• 1+ years maintaining industrial equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• High School diploma with 4–6 years related experience; vocational training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on motors, conveyors, and production machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot using precision tools.
• Replace defective parts and inspect dimensions with calipers and micrometers.
• Minimize downtime by scheduling maintenance during non-production periods.
• Fabricate repair parts and manage inventory using Kanban.
• Document actions and communicate needs to team.
