Job summary

Culver’s is seeking a dedicated Porter/Maintenance Technician to help maintain restaurant facilities and equipment. Start times are between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM, depending on the day, with a focus on keeping the dining and kitchen areas clean, safe, and fully stocked for service.

Porters perform daily tasks such as stocking, general upkeep, equipment checks, and basic maintenance to ensure the Culver’s experience remains exceptional for guests and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Dependability and great communication are essential.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to work early morning shifts and follow routines.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior maintenance to interior and exterior of the restaurant.
• Maintain building exterior, landscaping, and snow removal.
• Manage food storage and rotation using FIFO principles; monitor shelf life.
• Operate and maintain restaurant equipment safely and correctly.
• Complete scheduled maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Start workday between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM and support daily operations.

Culver’s is looking for a dedicated, responsible, and dependable Porter/Maintenance Technician! Note that start times for this position are between 6AM and 7AM depending on the day.

Every day, our Porters hustle to set an excellent Culver’s experience in motion. They open the doors each morning and ensure our restaurants and equipment are in tip-top condition, as well as keep our kitchens stocked with safe, fresh ingredients that meet our high-quality standards. Porters keep our entire operation running smoothly for guests and the team, so we can deliver a dining experience unlike any other.

Overview:

• Provide superior maintenance to the interior and exterior of the restaurant timely and accurately. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly jobs timely and accurately
• Maintain the appearance of the building exterior and grounds effectively, including landscaping and snow removal
• Put food orders away accurately, rotate stock in the cooler, freezer, and dry storage area using the First In-First Out method while monitoring shelf life and code dates
• Maintain a basic working knowledge of the operation of all the equipment in the restaurant
• Complete scheduled maintenance on all restaurant equipment safely and correctly
• A typical workday starts between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM.
