Job summary

Culver’s Restaurants is seeking a dedicated Porter/Maintenance Technician to help keep our restaurants and equipment in tip‑top condition. Start times range from 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM depending on the day, with on‑the‑job training and competitive wages.

Porters ensure the building and grounds are well‑kept, assist with stock rotation, and maintain safe, efficient kitchen operations. This role supports guests and the Culver’s team by delivering a reliable, high‑quality dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance to interior and exterior of the restaurant on schedule.
• Keep building exterior and grounds looking good, including basic landscaping and snow removal.
• Rotate stock and manage food storage areas using FIFO to ensure freshness and safety.
• Understand operation of restaurant equipment and perform routine maintenance safely.
• Start time typically between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM.

Culver’s is looking for a dedicated, responsible, and dependable Porter/Maintenance Technician! Note that start times for this position are between 6AM and 7AM depending on the day.

Every day, our Porters hustle to set an excellent Culver’s experience in motion. They open the doors each morning and ensure our restaurants and equipment are in tip-top condition, as well as keep our kitchens stocked with safe, fresh ingredients that meet our high‑quality standards. Porters keep our entire operation running smoothly for guests and the team, so we can deliver a dining experience unlike any other.

Overview

• Provide superior maintenance to the interior and exterior of the restaurant timely and accurately. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly jobs timely and accurately
• Maintain the appearance of the building exterior and grounds effectively, including landscaping and snow removal
• Put food orders away accurately, rotate stock in the cooler, freezer, and dry storage area using the First In-First Out method while monitoring shelf life and code dates
• Maintain a basic working knowledge of the operation of all the equipment in the restaurant
• Complete scheduled maintenance on all restaurant equipment safely and correctly
• A typical workday starts between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM.
